The trust appreciates all the Panchayat heads and youth who wholeheartedly support these worthy initiatives by bringing renaissance into our minds and thereby our lives. Through your contributions many poor and downtrodden have been given better health, a positive outlook towards life and most importantly solace and hope. Together we have conquered the menace of health problems in our village.
Thaneti sattibabu, aged 27, a native of Marripudi, Rangampeta mandal, East Godavari Dt, Andhra Pradesh was a patient who had swelling in both his limbs. He died on the spot in an accident when ambulance was taking him to the hospital. He had a wife and two young daughters (a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old). He was from a very poor family and used to work as a daily labor.
His sudden and unfortunate death left his wife and kidsin a helpless situation both financially and mentally.
In that situation, we cannot bring back the lost life but we could help the wretched family monetarily which may lessen the burden of his wife to support and educate their two daughters.
All our friends and well wishers from India and other countries contributed to supporting Sattibabu's family. We thank you from the bottom of our heart for your valuable contributions and for providing a helping hand in supporting Sattibabu's family. On 05 February 2015, we deposited Rupees One Lakh in CHAITANYA GODAVARI GRAMEENA BANK to support Sattibabu's family. A sum of Rupees 50,000 had been deposited in the name of each daughters, with Pithrudevobhava Charitable Trust acting as a joint account holder. The deposit will be renewed till the minors attain majority.

We organize free medical check up to all golden-agers and free medicines are made available to them. Utmost care is provided to every single patient. We also distribute rice, food items, fruits and adult diapers in the hope of replenishing their stomachs and self-respect in their trying age.
It is said that Old age is like a childhood where we come back in a full circle and desire the same things we did as children- Food in our stomachs and lots of love and care. We do not know how much of it we have given the grandmas and grandpas of Captain Lingam Welfare Trust, but the gratitude in their eyes and the smile on their faces gave our team more than what we could have ever given them. They had more to offer us in the form of blessings than we could have offered them.
